An expert communicator with a balance of corporate and agency experience, Nancy Maffucci leads Wunderman's global communications team. Nancy’s primary focus is ensuring all agency stakeholders--client, prospect and employee--receive consistent, actionable communications about Wunderman's strategic imperatives. In this role, she manages the agency’s online presence and public relations. She reports directly to Wunderman CEO, Daniel Morel.

Nancy is also responsible for the agency's active involvement at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival and the Direct Marketing Association. She manages the agency's Global Creative Directors' Meeting and internal awards program developed in recognition of Lester Wunderman, the acknowledged father of Direct Marketing. In 2008, Nancy was a key member of the team responsible for Wunderman's branding initiative to commemorate the agency's next 50 years.

Before coming to Wunderman in 2002, Nancy was vice president at MasterCard International, responsible for Corporate Communications and CEO Communications. She also headed consumer marketing groups at major PR agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Cohn & Wolfe, Manning Selvage & Lee and Magnet Communications (now part of Euro).

She served as the team leader of large global clients including General Motors (The GM Card - Silver Anvil Winner), Heinz (Green Ketchup launch), Colgate-Palmolive (Oral Care, Home Care brands), Hasbro (4-time Toy Fair veteran) and was senior PR counselor to Oxford Health Plans, Sterling Health, among others.

Nancy started her career as a trade journalist. She spends her free time reading non-fiction, cooking, traveling, and relaxing in New Mexico.
